Great boat museum with lots of great information on the history of boating on Chautauqua Lake. Rotating boats mean you see something different each year. Rowing, motor, wooden boats etc.
I just visited the museum on Monday, and I have to say, I am EXTREMELY impressed! Such an interesting collection, and so well displayed. The boats and motors are in superb condition and are just gorgeous. And Dave's knowledge and experience are VAST. I will go again next summer for sure! Five stars!
A great addition to our community. Anyone who has been around here for any time has to remember Dave and Jean Lawson. Beautiful old and nicely restored boats and other items of historical importance to the area.
